He catches you staring at him.
“Hi, pretty.”
“Hey, handsome.”
You bathed in the serene quiet and watched the sun dip beneath the skyline of the city, a gradient of pink and yellow painting the evening sky. One hand on the wheel, the other rested on your thigh, absentmindedly drawing circles with his thumb. You took his hand in yours, adoring the way his callouses brushed against your palm and intertwining your fingers. Pressing a kiss to the back of his hand, you smiled softly at him and he flashed a blindingly bright grin.
“You love me?”
“Forever and always.”
