I love your post about "white snow tigers." I'm a zookeeper and the amount if ignorant people who love white tigers is astonishing. If only they realized the breeding atrocities they are a part of.
Thanks! I'm not even a zoo keeper or anything to do with wild animals (I'm still in school), but I see it all the time both on here and in real life.
I think the main reason people are ignorant to the whole white tiger problem is because they see large 'respectable' zoos who own / breed white tigers, and therefore they assume that it's an acceptable practise because zoos wouldn't possibly take part in something that would be deemed cruel. Another problem is that some people don't bother doing any background research into the topic before they go spouting out that white tigers are endangered, but hey, there's always going to be people like that.
Money and ignorance go hand-in-hand and sadly it'll probably never stop.
