“ James do you ever feel like people are looking at you but not really seeing you? Like they see something else instead?” People looking at her isn’t out of the usual. It’s to be expected when you’re the youngest person in your university lecture or when your last name is the same as titans of industry and heroes. Morgan was used to people staring but the more it happened nowadays the more it felt like they were looking at her but seeing something or someone entirely different.   

“ Hey hey hey, James.  I’m  here. ”  F.R.I.D.A.Y  had  alerted  him  the  second  James  had  found  himself  in  trouble  and  Tony  had  immediately  made  his  way  to  his  son.  He  only  managed  to  spot  him  thanks  to  the  suit  sticking  out  amongst  the  rubble.  “ Try   keep  your  eyes  open  for  me.  I’ll  get  you  out  of  here. ”

Tony  took  hold  of  the  small  pieces  of  rubble  first,  pulling  them  away  so  they  wouldn’t  crumble  when  he  removed  the  one  practically  crushing  his  son.  “ Okay,  just  let  me  move  this- ”  His  iron  clad  fingers  grasped  around  the  edges  of  the  large  piece  and  he  gritted  his  teeth  as  he  picked  it  up  and  then  threw  it  with  a  heavy  thud.  Finally  he  turned  back  to  James  and  moved  to  his  knees.  “ Can  you  move? ”

{✗} Natasha eyes the boy carefully, tilting her head to the side. God--with all of these children running around, one would think she’d feel OLD. 

Never.

She chuckles and rolls her eyes, shaking her head. “God, you look just like Tony.” Her tone is light, observatory. She’s friendly, but not as open as she was with the other Avengers.

“What are you doing at my HOUSE, James?”
