pale blue eyes gazed up at his sensei before a smile spread across his gentle whiskered face. boruto had learned from his mistake — think before he spoke to certain people or about them. he may not say it a lot but his sensei was pretty cool even if he didn’t think so. sure, his trading card might not be worth much like others but he was strong no doubt about it.

‘ not even you, shino-sensei! i won’t allow anyone to fall behind, ‘ttebasa! ’

             “Ah.” His lips press into a line softened by hidden amusement, a fondness for his team mate’s son prevalent despite the child’s usual attitude towards him. It is times like this when he is much too aware of what Boruto and his classmates are: children. They may have their issues and cause twice as many, but as long as their hearts are in the right place, that’s well enough for Shino.

1. FAVOURITE FEMALE CHARACTER?probably gunna sound weird, but i really love temari. i always loved seeing her and the sand sibs turn up.

2. FAVOURITE MALE CHARACTER?KANKURŌ!!  without a doubt he is my favourite !!  i always get this feeling when i see my favourite character of a tv show or movie on screen and i absolutely had it whenever i saw him. (and yamato but i developed a fondness for kankurō well before yamato was introduced. tree man is also my bae.)

YO YO ,  MINATO BEING PROTECTIVE OF HIS FAMBAM IS MY LIFE  ,   

whether it be boruto  ,  himawari  ,  naruto  ,  hinata  ,  kushina  ,  or even his ninja peers and any team minato members ----- this son of a gun will drop his everything and help them to the best of his abilities. i also believe he would do so CALMLY and COLLECTEDLY ,  knowing well enough that getting all worked up won’t do him or his loved ones any good. that’s what i love about minato ,  to be honest.

but honestly yeah ,  if he felt that boruto was in trouble and he was currently dealing with his own issues regarding an important mission --- he’d swiftly ensure to help his grandson first and THEN go back and finish what he had started. his enemies won’t be able to tell if he’s mad  ,  in my interpretation  ,  and i think that’s when he’s at his scariest. he’d cut through all the baddies with boruto clinging to his back and just ----------

arms crossed a look of confusion passing across his whiskered face as he stared at his uncle. his anger about his father never being home, his fear of losing his old man because of it. his frustration at not being strong enough to NOT doing anything about it. what could he possibly do to keep his family together? as of right now, hate was all he knew. hating his old man was going to make him stronger. it wasn’t as if he were ever there for HIM to watch his progress anyway.

‘ i don’t know what you’re talking about… ’

Sasuke could not deny that he worried for the child. At first, he had not wanted to believe Naruto’s words---“Boruto is a lot like you.”---and yet he had no choice but to take them to heart. The more he got to know the boy, the more resemblence he actually recognized.

The implication of future dread and anguish had flown over his friend’s head when he had uttered the comparison but Sasuke knew better. If Boruto continued to hate his father the way he did, he would regret it sooner rather than later. Similar to how Sasuke had hated his brother. Similar to how he'd loved him all the same.

“Stop it,” he instructed firmly, looking down at his pupil. It seemed as if he had no choice but be direct. Otherwise, Boruto would never understand what he was getting at. Even if he did, he would probably deny it.
