So I did that scary thing I was talking about yesterday... which was my PhD viva... and I passed!!!!! The examiners really liked it and as soon as I've made some minor corrections I can graduate and be Hot Dr Jess hahahahaha so thank you so much everybody for all the nice messages and good luck wishes because they really helped (or it was the ghostly presence of hot nineteenth century Prof Sam) (given that the PhD is in nineteenth century literature). I LOVE YOU ALL (I love everybody right now)
(still can't shake the feeling that they are gonna email me and be like "actually we changed our minds THIS IS TERRIBLE") (it did only happen this afternoon I guess so it has yet to properly sink in)
