The kid is adorable. Girl, smart as Felicity, cute as heck. Letās call her Anna.
Sheās not shy, so when she sees Oliver in the grocery store wearing a t-shirt with her momās favorite band, she starts talking to him, much to her motherās exasperation. Oliver explains that heās very tired (Felicity reads that as hungover) and that the shirt belongs to his friend, he doesnāt know the band. Anna takes this as a personal affront, so she huffs and puffs and demands Oliver listen to the band. He promises he will, smiles kindly at Felicity, and goes on his way.
The next time they see each other, Felicity and Anna are at the park. Oliverās wearing a suit and heās eating lunch and heās polite, saying that he really liked the band. Annaās happy, and she tells him about the concert that her mom will be going to, wouldnāt Oliver want to join her? Felicity gets flustered at that, blushes furiously, but Oliverās eyes lit up and he says heād love to. And thatās how Anna got them a date.
Itās a casual thing, burgers before the concert and Felicity yelling from the top of her lungs during her favorite songs, and Oliver drives her home and kisses her cheek.
The second date is at the zoo, with Anna who likes Oliver a lot. Felicity does too, and Oliver starts calling them my girls... Well. my other girls, cause I have a mom and a sister already.Ā
Over the years, after Oliver and Felicity buy a house together, after they get married because it makes sense in terms of bank records and hospital next of kins, Anna only calls Oliver dadĀ when sheās upset with him. Itās pretty hilarious, even when Anna is 25 and arguing about some movie.Ā
