ofc!! i watched a lot of petes this year and saw a lot of him in my draft research so these will mostly be hockey-based facts because i don't know a ton abt him personally (he seems sweet!)
- he's 6'4 so he's a Big Boy but he's quick in his net and get's down into a splits really fast
- 2nd ranked north american goalie who put up a .902 Sv% with the OHL's Peterborough Petes but he had a rough playoff series
- he's better than his stats suggest because of the general talent level of the petes
- he plays big in his net and he's pretty powerful so his lateral movements are tight and controlled (he's a joy to watch without giving you the same level of anxiety that watching a goalie like jon quick gives you)
- projected to be an NHL starting goalie one day!
- knows he's not great at playing the puck so he keeps it simple behind the net when he's controlling dump ins/loose pucks
- has an 'imposing presence' in net (quote from dennis macinnis)
- took big steps forward this year and will likely do another year with the petes before going AHL (providing there's space for him in iowa)
