Noley!
Noley wasn’t really close with her parents growing up. Mumsy, on the other hand, was her favorite adult relative.
In fact, she used to call her Mumsy Ibby, and it still stuck today.
She collects little figurines and keeps them all around her ship.
It was weird waking up after the surgery and being able to see again with two eyes. She wasn’t used to it, and totally kept blinking said eye and touching it.
She might have tried to convince Jai to mess around on the hospital bed while high on painkillers.
I would talk about my NPCs but I have Too Many™. So, have some of my favorites: Ibbin "Mumsy" Cynega, grandmother of Devye and Ionoley. Wealthy Imperial socialite on the surface, die-hard supporter of her granddaughters (and the only one from their family to not disown them when they have alien husbands). Had an arranged marriage and was forced to leave behind her Zabrak boyfriend; eventually defects as well, years after her husband dies, and is reunited with her old beau. Ruthless to most, loving to her family. Human. Cazne'val and Tor'edana, parents of Kina and Akerav. Val is a Republic soldier that officially stayed on Balmorra to fight with the Resistance, and Edana was a former Jedi that ended up captured by slavers with Akerav and while pregnant with Kina. She dies in slavery after losing hope, neglecting her children in the process. Akerav finds his father with the help of Melrai, and is reunited with him. Bonus: Kina met her father once while she was on Balmorra... imperial!Balmorra, that is. Khem gave him his three scars on his face. It wasn't pretty. Twi'leks. The Nelant family, the wealthy Imperial slaveowners that kept Twi'lek slaves for physical labor -- the parents had three children, of which I can only remember Giviery right now. They owned Kina, Akerav, and Nideryn (though Nid only belonged to the eldest daughter, who kept trying to break the former Nar Shaddaa street rat). Akerav kills the eldest son when he escapes, while Giv was disowned after being discovered having a relationship with Kina (and then he became a spiced up loser after losing the inheritance). They end up all killed in the end. Humans. General Emithan Na'azso, father of Restonthi. Hella corrupt, hella abusive, forever hella disappoint in his daughter. Blames her for the death of his wife, though obviously it's not Tonton's fault for having her mom die in child birth. Khas and Tonton go to Mirial and "take care" of him at some point during their storyline. Mirialan. Honorable mentions include Sak and Tas's mom, their grandpa, Nid's dad, and Qijaxa's twin baby brothers, as I can't remember their names right now. There will be a part two of my favorites later, once I look that stuff up.

hehe! Devye is mostly close to what I originally envisioned for her buuutttt
she was a lot more morally ambiguous in the beginning, leaning more towards DS. now, she's mostly neutral-y/good.
Devye was totally still into drugs after she became an agent, but that was snipped.
she didn't have a good relationship with her older sister, Noley, but they have since reconciled.

The color of their eyes: dark green
How old they are: thirty
One strange thing/quirk/defining characteristic of their body or physical appearance: Ionoley is much taller than her younger sister, Devye, though I like to think that her BT3 is chubbier than muscular
One strange thing/quirk/defining characteristic of their personality: she's not as cocky as the regular smuggler is, but she is  just as snarky
How their parents met: her father was a hunter that wooed away her socialite mother with the prospects of traveling the galaxy (re: ending up on Nar Shaddaa and in Hutt territory for the majority of their marriage. she wasn't pleased.)
Who their first love was, and why they loved them: she liked a guy that got her the ship (that was stolen) but he died and she didn't really care other than FREE SHIP
How/why I came up with the concept for them: Ionoley was technically my first SWTOR character on grandargh's account as a type 4 IA with short red hair, but then Devye became my IA, and I wanted to make a badass older sister to her SO SMUGGLER TIME
Who they eventually end up with: Jai'trin Adin, her younger cutie boyfriend
Their favorite animal: nexu cats
"What do you mean there's two of them?"
"Well, Missus -- "
"Adin. Noley Adin."
"Missus Adin, you are expecting twins, and they seem to be in excellent health, the both of them."
"But... I wasn't expecting to have two for my first pregnancy!"
"Are twins common in your family? Sometimes, if twins run in the family, they are more common as time goes on."
"Well, not in my family, but my husband is a twin."
"There you go."
As if on cue, Jai rushed in, looking slightly disheveled. "I'm sorry I'm late, the general had a surprise debriefing and --"
"Congratulations on the two new family members to your family!"
He looked at Noley, who smiled at her younger husband. "We're having twins?"

Noley held the small article of clothing to her tummy for her husband to see. The Mirialan smiled and put his hand right on the onesie, careful not to push too hard on her pregnant belly.Â
"We might need to get a few of those, Noley," he commented when he felt a little kick, "Twins do run in the family."

The twins looked up at their mother with wide eyes, both in their matching onesies. They wriggled on their mat on the floor, soft gurgles coming from their daughter.
There was a soft chuckle from behind — Noley glanced back and smiled when she saw Jai walking over to momma and babies.
"Can you believe I’m talking like this, love? Me, a freighter captain!" Noley gently tickled the bottom of her son’s tootsies, which made him (and his sister) giggle.
"Motherhood is a great look on you, love," Jai replied, giving Noley a kiss on her cheek.
