at least with the bread fish song that doesnt happen - the volume stays fairly constant and the song loops almost perfectly so there are dramatically fewer possible times where I have to hear things like "OHHH YEAH BABY RIGHT THERE OHHHHH YEAHHH"

the fact that my mom used to be a hardcore trekkie will forever make me happy :D plus she's promised that we'll watch as much of tos as possible over winter break this year. here's to hoping she actually remembers that a month from now
