south park actually explains and/or represents goths and emos so well and so much better than ive ever seen in any huge piece of media, even if it's caricature-y. like yeah we're both brooding little shits but they don't fail to acknowledge that there really is a difference. makes me sad how pornified alternative subcultures are now since their renaissance in the past few years to the point that it feels so icky to associate myself with the word "alternative"
