So, you know how Lapras can understand human speech? Well, Snow knows this. He knows this from those tons and tons of documentaries he watched as a child/preteen/teen/near adult. Lapras, however, speak in their own sort of language too, which varries in tones and pitches.

Snow’s singing voice is enhanced by the fact that he can pretty much communicate with Lapras in their own language. He’s not perfect by any means, but... He can speak back to wild ones that have never seen humans, and he can speak basic sentences about most anything to Lapras. He just loves Lapras okay...))
