it took a few moments looking at the other before bursting out laughing , it was such a ridiculous line like all those cliché movies from america it was despite the students best efforts boiled down to nothing but a mere fiction.
“ there is no way you are serious , right ? ” hands resting against his sides , aching slightly in result to the violent laughter. he exhaled heavily as the spasms settled down a bit of a pause as salmon colored eyes watering a bit before a pale hand dried the liquid collecting there.
that sure was a good laugh , it was ages since he had actually genuinely laughed.
through the process of those moments the male decided that the simplest way would be to teach the reality of the situation and maybe later on giving the other a different shape but simply used his quirk to bend the purple headed’s thumb forcefully and dislocating it fully.

This isn’t how Denki expected it to go down. He figured it would be Bakugou or Midoriya who look behind his facade, not the guy who Denki first took note off during the Sports Festival. Shinsou caught his attention then; initially because of his quirk but later also because of what he said to Midoriya. Shinsou is different from a majority of heroes because he knows what it’s like to be perceived as scum. Denki doesn’t want to fight him if he can help it. Except, he can’t, can he? The realization is bitter-sweet and twists his gut in familiar ways. All things come to an end eventually, but Denki still never knows to expect it when the time approaches. Now that his cover is blown, he won’t be able to play hero anymore.
Heart thrumming wildly in his chest, Denki twists his expression into one of faux confusion. He’s played the part for so long, it doesn’t take much effort anymore. He lets his mouth hang open momentarily, as though he is about to speak. He doesn’t and instead rushes forward as electricity prickles wildly on his skin.
