Claire hadn’t been by to peek in on Kurt in a while, and that was something she felt slightly guilty about. She knew Kurt wasn’t the type to mind such a thing, actually, she often still worried that she bothered him, despite how long they’d been friends, but she still felt bad when she wasn’t able to see him for a while. 

Of course, today she had the perfect excuse for a visit. She’d just gotten in a nice, juicy crop of tomato plants, and she knew that they were his favorite. The very thought made her smile happily as she looked down at the basket she was carrying, which held about a dozen of them. They were really good this year, in her opinion. Bright red and nice and juicy. Perfect. 

As she arrived at the shop where her friend worked, Claire pushed the door open and stepped inside. The smell of fresh lumber immediately entered her nose and she inhaled it deeply. She’d always loved that smell. Reminded her of old times with her grandpa. 

The blonde waved over at Kurt’s boss before making her way over to him, a bright smile crossing her face as she greeted him with a friendly wave of her hand. 

“Hey Kurt! Surprise!”

She grinned rather happily as she presented the basket of tomatoes to her friend, her blue eyes lighting up. The girl loved giving things to her friends, and it was even better when it was something she was proud of. One thing Claire knew, it was vegetables, being a vegetarian and all. 

  [Cups her hand over her mouth as she laughs.] Oh why thank you Kurt ~ ♪! [Hums softly, before poking the young man delicately in the chest.]

Jill didn't know why she had gone to the festival or signed up for the dance. But hey, it was suppose to be fun. And she sure did need something fun to take her mind off her personal life, work, and whatever shit was about to come.

Upon hearing the calls for partners to, well, find each other, Jill looked around for whoever this "Kurt" fellow was. A few minutes passed and she noticed a man, standing a little ways away from her, and by deduction (or just common sense) Jill had somehow figured out he either was waiting for his dance partner who wasn't her or was Kurt.

  [Perks up at the sound of the tinkling bell - looking up from her current task of snipping thorns off of the rosebuds.] ? [A small smile spreads on her lips, twiddling her fingers as a wave to the young man.] Well lookie who decided to pay me a visit ♪.

  [Places her hands on the counter, arching a brow at the bag of coins.] Hm? Well goodness I wouldn’t go as far as calling me an expert ♪.

Someone has a bit of an ego.

Clorica held a grey tie in her hand, looking around to see who it could possible belong to.  She ran around the ballroom frantically, hoping that she could find her partner soon.  "… ?"
