Realization watching Inuyasha
As I re-watch Inuyasha (for the billionth time of course) on netflix, I realized another theme and parallel in this beloved series.
When Inuyasha turns full demon, he doesn't remember anything he did. He was just a blood thirsty killer and it terrified him once he realized he had done those things, and he did NOT want that to happen again. What does this remind me of?
A bad trip. Drugs, alcohol... this happens to people all the time. Like Inuyasha, we have to find the strength to overcome our inner DEMONS. (See what I did there :O)
If I were an english teacher, I would use this series as the novel everyone has to write an essay on, if you know what I’m saying LOL.
Thank you for reading this, and please enjoy the rest of your day and remember how many morals and themes you can find this best series of all time. :)
Inu Confession #2
Whenever I watch the last episode of TFA, I always avoid watching the very last scene of the last episode, of inukag looking out from into the distance, cause i know i’ll just cry if i do....
Inuyasha Theme Music
Do you ever just cry when listening to all the Inuyasha theme songs cause they remind you of your childhood that you’ll never get back...
My favourite opening themes are Change the World, I Am, Grip!, and A Future Without You.
My favourite ending themes are My Will, Deep Forest (Fukai Mori), Mischievous Kiss, Every Heart, Song of Truth.
As for movie themes, I love them all! Especially No More Words and even more especially Rakuen! Now THAT song makes me emotional... Could be cause that was the last movie and the last Inuyasha animation that I ever saw in my childhood... But I really enjoyed all of Do as Infinity’s music on the show.
What are YOUR favourite Inuyasha songs????
Inu-thoughts
Am I the only one that still prays for Rumiko to write more Inuyasha chapters? Even though this series is quite long I still don’t think it was long enough for me. I remember the thought of the series ending literally made my cry when I was a kid! That’s how much it actually meant to me. I’m sure all of us die-hard Inuyasha fans always think; “If only there was a well nearby who would take me to feudal Japan and let me meet the inu-gang… Now that is all I’d want in my life.” Yup, that’s how I’m feeling, and have always felt of course. Why did this series have to end??!! Nope, over 550 something chapters wasn’t enough for me, and neither were almost 200 episodes, filler or not. At this point, anything Inuyasha related will please me. Movie 5 anyone? ;)

How I relate to Inuyasha.
It may sound silly, but I relate to Inuyasha, in this case the character, because I was going through the same thing as him. I was a half breed. No, not half demon.. But half French Canadian and half Lebanese. Two completely different cultures. Living in Canada, But I only spoke english. And I didn’t fit in with either side. Both groups rejected me at first. So, like Inuyasha, I had to make a place for myself. And just like Inuyasha, I made friends who never cared what ethnicity I was. And eventually, I felt accepted by both sides, because I didn’t let them tell me who they thought I was.
