Just received the the most beautiful Mother's Day gift from Pachamama and my Linebacker ladies on the other side. 🦋 A little bit ago I stepped out into my garden to take a look at Maybelline’s Stroller to see if it needed some dusting before taking my fur kids out for a walk. As I was looking down at the dead leaves that had fallen into the patio and debating if I should clear them out before the walk, my eyes caught the unmistakable color and pattern of an orange monarch! She was tucked carefully under some leaves, with only one wing poking out. Rupert and I carefully enearthed her and brought her inside where I placed her on my Mesa. 🦋 Monarchs are so very special to me as they are one of the symbols my Grandma Isabel uses to let me know she is around. My other grandmother, Kifty, prefers blue butterflies but in the past has let me know she’s nearby with Isabel when I’ve seen two monarchs fluttering by. Not to mention one of the beach’s my mom and I would go to when visiting Kifty was right beside a resort called The Monarch and had a bright orange butterfly the sign. My mom typically uses a yellow butterfly to indicate her presence. All three of them however know that when I see a butterfly, particularly a monarch, I know it’s them so finding such a beautiful gift this afternoon truly is something special. And I am so honored that this little creature decided to pass in my little sanctuary. I look forward to honoring her and the collective spirit of the monarch in my journey. 🦋 Did you know that finding a fallen bird, butterfly, or any creature is a gift from Spirit?
