I have come to the realisation that I am indeed the introvert who gets adopted by extroverts
So just recently, my parents took my family and me to Walmart because they needed to grab some meds for sunburns and whatnots. That left me off to my own. As usual, I went to grab art supplies within the amount of cash I had on me. Then my family all met up to go pay. I told them that I would pay my own things, so they gave me the okay. I went off to a cash register to pay for my items. I had a lot of art supplies and there was this awkward silence between the cashier and me as she was scanning the items. I was okay with the silence, being that I am an introvert. I guess the cashier wasn't okay with the silence, though. So she tried picking up a conversation. She asked me: "So, are you an artist?" I was rummaging through my backpack for my wallet at the moment and I gave her this odd look when she asked me that question. In my bag, she had a clear view of the contents of my backpack where I kept the art supplies I hoarded around with me. Then I stared at the items I was purchasing before I glanced back at her. I felt like giving her a sarcastic reply, but I didn't want to be rude. So we just had another awkward silence as I paid her, more uncomfortable than the last. Then she held up her left hand and said "I am missing half of a pinkie." which I had never noticed. She started to break out laughing and then I eventually joined her. She held out her hand for me to see and I touched it and she said "Oh my God, your hands are so tiny." I picked up my things and left. Thus, the weirdest plot twist I have been in and the best ice breaker I have ever heard.
What you consider a problem may be cool for me! There are positives only introverts would understand.

What Do Introverts Do for Fun?
A few days ago, I attended our alumni homecoming dinner. I had a pretty good time and since I’ve worked at my school right after graduation, I was particularly happy to see my coworkers who also happened to be my very good friends.
Eventually, I got asked about what I did for a living, and most of them already knew that I work online, but I got around to explaining it further.
So I told them that I’m basically a home-based solo entrepreneur (or something along that line). I stay at home and work in front of my computer, writing for people all over the world, sometimes all day.
Most appreciated that I had a lot of ‘freedom’ but one asked, “Isn’t that boring, though?”
