Honestly screw this I'm tired of staying in town and being the only one that's cautious. I WILL go on a day trip at the very least and enjoy something. I need a spring break.

I teared up at tonight's dinner (didn't full on cry thank god) but I know there's a good chance of actually crying on my last day.
I don't know a lot of people that can relate to this but I love the people I work with. In an ideal world, I would stay at this job for as long as possible because I love my work fam. The job itself isn't bad either. Benefits decent too. But I have an opportunity to grow so I'm taking it.
Sounds cheesy but wish I could take my boss and colleagues with me.
I calculated and I think I'm pulling 60 hours a week. While getting paid for just 40.
And I feel like I can't complain because I actually know people who are working more than that. Like 90 hours. A week.
All I knows is I'm tired.
what is everyone's opinion on this:
A friend dm'ing you out of the blue with this exact message "hi❤what is your current mailing address"
Maybe it's long term effects of social distancing but I'm suspicious and part of me thinks she was hacked lol. I know we only talk every few months so we're not that close but she should know my address by now?
why does she embarrass me like this. so my cousin thinks buying a certain red hat would make for a great christmas gift because her long-term (and now imo highly questionable) boyfriend is a big fan of a certain orange tinged person and because she lives elsewhere she wants to ship the damn thing to me first so I can send it to her and I- am offended. Also feeling lowkey worried all my neighbors (who are all POC) will see a package with that name on it. Like I'm praying the box is nondescript

@printzcharming I understand that too. It might be awkward if we were all going out for drinks and I was the only one out, but if they don’t even want to have lunch or dinner together because of my choice, I think I have mixed feelings about that.
And I wonder if they would say the same about our other friends that are pregnant or have different reasons for not drinking. Like are we going to stop hanging out with them because of that?
Wow I love losing friends after I tell them I don’t want to drink. It’s not like I’m stopping anyone else from enjoying themselves. We can still go out somewhere, I’ll be there downing whatever alternative and surprise surprise you can still enjoy your own drinks.
The gang is breaking up and I don't want us to, and I feel guilty because maybe in a pitying way, it's my fault. As the catalyst. And I'm sorry.
I see the little senior ladies hanging out and I want that to be us.
