biography

kiran was born in the mughal empire, but his mother fled with him only a week after he was born. he’s never known his father, and he’s never wanted to. he was brought to england and raised in london. 

the story of his knighthood is quite funny, actually. he was running through the streets of london when he stumbled into one of the noble lords. he was dirty and disheveled from playing all day, and the lord assumed he was very poor despite his mother managing to make enough money as a seamstress to keep them fed. the lord took pity on him and offered to sponsor him to make him a knight. kiran still isn’t sure, to this day, what he saw in him, but karin didn’t ever care much. there, he got educated and was eventually knighted for his chivalric deeds, though knighting was becoming more symbolic than anything. 

he was given land with his knighthood, and he still probably has it. however, he rarely visits, choosing instead to wander and write poetry about the beautiful lands he’s explored. he’s been to most every country on the mainland. though, he favors italy and its art. so, he was excited to return to florence. (he plans on going to venice at some point, but why waste good wine?)
