it's so bad how so much of the USA getting worse is driven by money bros wanting to privatize. Trump put whoever it is in charge of the post office to start the process last time, and USPS is terrible now. on purpose, so private business can push in. Every federal school program, including support for disabled students, is ending so they can dismantle the Department of Education -- they're doing this alongside promoting school vouchers (way for white people to get out integrated districts + pulls resources away from public schools) because, again, they want to destabilize the public systems for private alternatives to make more money.
We already have some of the worst public programs in the world in this country, and they want to get rid of what we do have. You know how there's posts like "if we didn't already have libraries and school buses, they'd be met with so much opposition"? That's what they're doing.
