Interview 5 (In the kitchen)
A:Hey!Do you have dinner ?
A:Nice.I'm doing a ethnography research. Can I interview you now?It will not take you much time.
A:Thank you!(Write down female)Um...Do you often run a red light?
F:I don't run yet.I certainly would not risk running a red light in the future because accidents happen even when drivers are following the rules.
A:It's true.Next one is what do you think of running red light will bring you what kind of security risks?
F:It is too risky to not follow them especially at lights where there are more pedestrians and cyclists.
A:Ok,I think so.will you pay attention to the design of the sidewalk and traffic lights when crossing the road?and why.
F:As a pedestrian I pay attention to the signs along the road especially those that tell you which way to look to cross safely.I use the traffic lights to wait for it to be green to cross unless it is completely safe to do so otherwise.
A:oh,pretty good answer.Last one is when you are waiting for the green light, if some people around you start to run a red light ,do you continue to wait or go with them?
F:It depends on the road and situation as to whether I would follow others across a road on a red light.I am more willing to if the road has a slow speed limit and is near shops or houses as cars are more likely to be driving slowly and watching out for pedestrians.I would tend not to cross if it was rush hour as it is busier but again this is subjective based on the road and the traffic situation.
A:Nice! It's a good idea for me.
F:No worries.Hope your research goes well!!!
