A certain blonde cat, meanwhile, wasn't all too sure just how he got swept up in this to begin with-- But none the less, Konoe found himself cuddled up to Pentious' front; weighed down in a surprisingly comfortable way by a couple of coils laid across his lower half... Despite the coolness they offered, however, the feline could still swear he felt too warm. With a discontinued little sound, he swallowed back some lingering awkwardness, and pressed his face against the snake's shoulder-- trying to seek out more of that coolness against his skin. Angel, in the meantime, did shift a little to peer over towards the little cat-- but, didn't venture so far as to ask what his deal was just yet. He wasn't sure he'd get a straight answer anyways-- so keeping an eye out for now seemed like a good enough move. -from @in-toxi-cant & @intertwining-hearts ♡

Pentious was so cold on summer nights. The heater in their room had totally bombed, and there was no hope for them in these late hours. Of course they could fix it, easily. But that required sleep they just didn't have yet. So.

Half asleep, their tail coils up against itself at the touch, an unconscious sort of thing. Pen wore a thick pajama top, and hoped they wouldn't make Angel too hot as a result. His fingers felt warm, soft against their skin as they stirred just the littlest bit awake. A curious, sleepy hum as their eyes slit. Just then, Konoe had nuzzled in. Their eyes fluttered open at full mast, glancing to him, then too Angel's had.
