i feel like the problem with michelle is that her storyline is so separate from everything? like... did she ever have a meaningful interactions with a main character other than owen/carlos? i kinda feel like the fire station is the heart of the show - owen, tk, judd, marjan, paul, mateo are all super involved in each other's storylines, grace and carlos both have an incredibly strong connection to a firefighter, whereas michelle kinda takes us completely away from that central "family".
Yeah, that’s an excellent point. She was kind of out there on her own because she hasn’t been as well incorporated with the others yet, but I think that will be better in season 2 as the characters all interact more and we see their stories combine a bit. She is kind of an outsider, although that’s kind interesting because in part she became that way, I think, because of her grief and push to find answers. She has alienated herself a bit and has very sharp edges sometimes because she’s in a lot of pain.
