Today I've been working on this little painting. I think I'm going to call it "Midnight Train". Years ago I went interrailing around Europe with a group of friends. This painting reminds me of when we would take overnight trains to the next country we were destined for, leaving from historical train stations, catching glimpses of what lay in the darkness as the train flew through the night. I was an amazing adventure and one I will never forget. π This painting is 8 x 8", the same as the "Mystery Art Project" pieces, they seemed to be a popular size with people and I like working that size and the challenge of creating a world inside an intimate space.
