Over the course of two hours today, I scanned a whole bunch of papers upside down, drew blood from my own finger trying to remove a staple, spilled bubble tea all over my leather desk chair, and spent 6-7 minutes thinking I was locked in the bathroom.
Not sure whether to be happy or concerned that I was told to take the rest of the day off.

Week 2
Week 1 went by way too fast but everyone's made me feel very welcome and it's inspiring to be in such a productive and creative environment. Today I finally realized that all the people in the office are only a year or two older than me, and some of them are even my age or younger! I no longer picture them all as going home and watching Jeopardy, or wonder why none of them have pictures of their weddings and kids on their desks.

Today a cockroach was spotted running across our office floor. A swift leap up onto a desk chair and a glass-shattering shriek later, I figured out that the hard-working businesswomen in my office are really just a bunch of normal girls.
