• We hope to see you at tonight’s opening of ‘Quanta’ 6-8pm, a stunning solo exhibition by @iouliaterizis, that we are very proud to be showing as our final exhibition here at Interlude! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In 'Quanta', Terizis explores the nature and processes of perception and consciousness, and our primordial quest for pictorial reverence, rooted in two of the earliest imaging technologies: drawing and photography. 'Quanta' materialises the coupling of these two mediums, grounded in a desire to mystify the perceptual process for the viewer. Terizis’ photographic works comprised of dissonant rudimental structures and elements of drawing and sculptural assemblage, expand upon the generative possibilities of cognitive thought; inciting dislocation, multiple readings and multiple orientations; as a perceptive process of perpetual re- negotiation. • #quanta #iouliaterizis #photography #contemporaryphotography #interludegallery (at Interlude Gallery)
