Rose went on a lot of ‘dates’ with older men. The targets she was given were often at least in their thirties, some twice her age or more. It was not necessarily something she liked, getting creeped on by guys old enough to be her dad, but these were the people who had the information and resources that Columba needed. Which was fine, since this was work. She could suffer through making out with a few silver foxes if that was what she was ordered to do. At least she never had to go much further than that.
Tonight she was after a big fish, some business man who apparently had something to do with moving weapons and drugs from the mainland to the island for one of the other gangs. Her job was to get him talking, find out what she could, and then get him nice and drugged up in a hotel room so that she could give Violet remote access to his phone; then, she was told, the hackers would do the rest. Simple enough.
The man was in his forties, married with two kids-- although no one would know it, with the way he was sliding his hand up her thigh as they chatted at the bar. “Maybe we should get out of here,” she suggested in a low tone, leaning in close enough that her lips brushed his earlobe. “I have a room upstairs-”
