I was looking at ribs for art, bc I wanna draw more skeletal structures, but I ended up in a mini-spiral. Have you noticed how unique ribs are?? Like, ofc, every human body is different, but whenever you notice how deep those differences are it's always so amazing. Like, I was looking a certain structures where the cartilage on the sternum would join in certain places before branching into other ribs.

I was literally ding this for some morbid botanical stuff, but I do understand why people will get so deep into skeletal structures- Now ngl, it ended up being a lot harder than I was willing to put in <//3 (took a break), but it was soooo fun to look at. I literally love rib cages now, lmfao. They're so beautiful and perfect and another part of the human body I have a strange love n attraction to
