Ingredients: 8 oz 225g of high-quality dark chocolate, finely chopped. 1 cup 240ml of heavy cream. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Assorted dippers: strawberries, banana slices, marshmallows, pretzels, and pound cake cubes.
Instructions: Heat the heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl for one to two minutes, or until heated through but not boiling. Allow the heated cream to sit for one or two minutes after adding the finely chopped dark chocolate. The chocolate and cream mixture should be thoroughly mixed and smooth. Add the vanilla extract and stir. Spoon the mixture into a heatproof bowl or fondue pot and place it over a low flame or tea light. Present with a variety of skewer-based dippers or forks to dip into. Savor the decadent chocolate fondue!
