It was oddly easy enough to forget that there was a whole other part of Atlas' life out there, despite the fact that they both simultaneously lived in Claret Park, Sage's childhood home just a few miles from Aslihan's more grandiose one. Only having been a time or two to drop off a gift from Maggie to Alex, she otherwise allowed herself to forget about it... except during moments like the one she was currently in, with the man that Aslihan was in a relationship with just feet from where she and her daughter were browsing through the after-Halloween sale candy. "Hard to resist buying holiday candy already, hm?" She stated, loud enough to catch the man's attention, feeling as though it would be weirder for him to notice she was there later than it would be to just say something and get the awkwardness over with. "Elijah, right?"

The petting zoo was already bustling by the time Maggie took her hand tight in her own and dragged her toward the bleating goats and lambs and the older blonde was suddenly reminded of the year the petting zoo had been unleashed on the entire city, thankfully without any fatal incident to both animals and humans. She was sure her daughter would love something like that happening, already obsessed over the baby goats she immediately ran to upon entering, laughing wildly as they nipped at her jacket and didn't quite fancy the bow holding her curls back in a ponytail that day. Sage couldn't help but smile at the scene, making sure to stay close but venturing just a foot or two away when she noticed the familiar face holding an ever-growing baby nearby. "Looks like dad life is treating you well."

Maisie always loved an excuse to get dressed up and go out and the date that a friend set her up on for the night was the perfect excuse — besides, who could say no to supporting charity, right? Especially when it involved a pretty girl and unlimited champagne. She was happy to support a cause when she could and charity balls had always been somewhat of an enjoyment for her, attending a few when she lived in Washington. Providence was different, though, she could feel the chaos in her bones, even if everything appeared normal, and if chaos was going to happen that night, she knew she and her date needed a refill of champagne, so she left the woman in a discussion with someone she knew and sought out the open bar, waiting for the bartender to look her way before she gave him a wave and pulled out her phone to type her order to show him. When she’d ordered and the bartender walked away, she noticed a man to her right that she may have cut in front of, though it was difficult to tell in the dimly lit ballroom. Without thinking, she signed a quick apology to him, a frown marring her features.

Sorry Miss Davis, your card declined. It wasn’t surprising news, having been a few days since she’d swiped the thing from Kennedy after being booted from their house — rightfully so, though she’d never admit to it. She knew the woman would have caught onto the missing card and would have had it frozen as soon as she noticed. It didn’t stop the pout from forming on her lips, though, only wanting to drink her way through the showcase and make all of her problems disappear, even if just for the night. It was just her luck that she spotted her brother’s baby mama’s boyfriend (what a mouthful) just a few steps away and she snatched the card back from the cashier and moved toward Elijah, greeting him with a smile as soon as he noticed her. “Hey, buddy! Got a little change to spare for Tiny Tim, seems my card was declined.” Molly waved the card around, just out of sight, before shoving it deep into her pockets before pulling her hands out, empty. “And it turns out I’m fresh out of cash too.”

She dropped her body into the only available stool at the bar, the motion slightly turning her to the side as she released a relieved huff of air. “I didn’t even realized there was so much popularity for a modern Coyote Ugly knock off,” Molly stated offhand to the man next to her, a stranger who she could have cared less if he wanted to talk or not, she was more so there for the whiskey than the conversation anyway. Signaling a bartender, she ordered just that before turning her attention back to the other. “You ever been to their Coyote night? I saw a flyer for it, sounds like they owe Leann Rimes some royalties if you ask me.”
