everyone was everywhere and chaos was what everyone seemed to be saying, but it honestly felt more stable that - than anything he’d experienced in recent years. a place to sleep, food, a steady source of money, people to talk to. they’d even had constant meetings before feiyan left, and now they did seem just as regular.
of course, some rituals he constructed for himself, lessons with dan that had fallen to the wayside, and lessons with rose that he was determined wouldn’t. he’d had one every week since he’d approached her soon after he’d arrived as was bored and wandered around the lair until he came across her playing.
even with her in nashville, it wasn’t as though distance was a problem, and he’d texted and she said that she was still up for it. anyway, she was the one who had stepped away and perhaps going after her wouldn’t be a problem?

he didn’t know, but he had his guitar case in one hand as he transported himself to the address she had given him, and he would try his best to not impose.
he shifted on his feet before running lightly up the steps and pressing the doorbell.
