Chase | Athena & Scout
There was some form of interaction with other members of the crews, a hand off of keys and rapid communication, her fingers flying over the two screens, trying to troubleshoot the problem on Athena’s while ensuring connectivity on her own. She nearly stilled completely once she managed to work out the problem for the first, shaking her head in disbelief as she clambered into the car seat, forgoing the seatbelt.
Which she immediately regretted as Athena floored the pedal, swallowing the scream that threatened to escape.
“The bracelet isn’t working because he hasn’t turned it on yet. Why hasn’t he turned it on?”
Scout muttered the last question to herself, her head shaking as she put that phone lower, half-monitoring in case the situation changed, but focusing the rest of her attention on her own interface.
“But Mickey’s phone is headed east, straight into the heart of Paris.” She quickly rattled off street names and coordinates, before nodding. She pulled another tablet out of her bag, continuing to eye the phone location, ensuring that it doesn’t change, then started trying to hack into the Royce’s internal WiFi. Even if they switched it off, they still left a digital footprint that should be traceable, and then hopefully enough to lock into the internals.
