I have a rant.

Jeon Jungkook and all other members of BTS are Korean. Their ethnicity is Korean, their mother tongue is Korean. They are Korean artists who sings mostly in Korean. So, if they speak, they again *mostly* speaks in Korean.

To assume that Jungkook or any other member should speak a language that they are not comfortable or fluent in just so that everyone understands is

1. Ignorant

2. Privileged

3. Racist

Point 2. To assume, all the I-ARMY by default speak only English is again, ignorant, discriminatory, and a privileged POV. English is a language like every other language. It is not a marker of one's abilities, intelligence, or standard of living. This is a colonial mentality bred into ignorant mind.
