#instant happification

Nice things today:

- Bub and I drawing in the footpath in front of our house, to brighten the neighbourhood

- journaling in the rotunda in the backyard, with palms and roses around me, and just perfect warm sun

- weeding the front garden with the sun on my back

- sweeping the carport, cleaning the toilet, and other little jobs that make the house nicer to be in

- phone calls with loved ones

- walking to our favourite cafe to get take away hot choccy, bubbaccino and focaccia for lunch

I sometimes forget how papercrafting takes me away to a place so full of possibilities and peace that it’s the perfect panacea for my anxiety. I create wonderful and whimsical things, and I like to encourage others to as well!

Tonight I was working on some elements for an advent calendar for my eldest niece. Some of the presents I made myself, some I wrapped, some I wrote and embellished little notes for. Those touches add so much more thought to presents, and I love doing that!
