An Image Per Day for 4 Months

To align with my experience of living and working in the Cairngorms for 4 months I have decided to catalogue and hopefully punctuate each day with an instagram post. This is both as research for myself and to give friends an idea of what I’m up to, hopefully others will see something in them too. “Day 014″ was yesterday which obviously signals the end of two weeks.

Week 1: No hashtags

Friends showed response.

Week 2: 5# per post

Highland hotels, random individuals, probably bots, amateur photographers and some creative companies showed response.

Unlimited hashtags + Only photographs of people

Week 4: ???

As you can see I am altering something / more than one thing each week and will continue to do so.

Currently all my photographs are unedited aside from the odd crop. I don’t apply filters and they are taken on an iphone 4s.

I am aware that there are many potential variables to this project. Hashtags, content of photo and time of post could all be tweaked to achieve consistency but if you have any suggestions for new limitations or adaptations then please get in touch. Thanks for reading,
