Conducted a workshop at this years @designdaysdubai about street photography in the city. The workshop be focused on discussing the cultural, social and legal factors of the environment, and how photographers can navigate through all these elements to bring thier own city stories to life and into the commercial realm. This workshop is for anyone interested in sharing their images and personal stories about the city beyond the camera sensor or dark room, understanding the city’s cultural climate, and the possibilities and restrictions of open photographic expression. Open discussion on shared experiences become more and more vital for aspiring street photographers. This is an opportunity to encourage visual stories with an accompanying narrative. Following the workshop, participants will be given a disposable camera and will have one week to share their own visual narrative.
