One thing I like about train rides is the inevitable people-watching. Train rides are my favorite transportation. Not only you get to see scenic views but the ability to blend yourself with locals. Whenever the train stops on every station you can see people from another train gazing with a curious eyes, waving, greeting with huge smiles. Twain is precisely right on this.
