“Um... Red... how many times have I told you... to keep a little distance while we’re in public? Please?”
He replied very close to my ear, “We can’t help it, right? Since we must share one umbrella.” The albino guy tightened his arm around my body instead, his hand hadn’t ceased to caress my side. “I thought you actually like it, dear? You have an extra umbrella with you, but you won’t open it anyway.”
“Well, I have a reason...” I muttered a reply to him, tightened my grip on the umbrella on hand. I haven’t told him about this plan I had in mind, of course. This extra umbrella was supposed to be for someone else... it wasn’t a male, so Red most probably wouldn’t be jealous. But still...
We walked the street in a very slow pace. Despite Red had always holding me like this whenever we were going out, I still hadn’t gotten used to it. At last we reached an intersection and finally I saw her. The traffic light had showed that it was now pedestrians’ turn to cross the road, but I could see a woman just stood there, by the road’s side, eyeing her surrounding as if she were lost.
I slowed down and reached for the umbrella I had beed keeping. Then, under Red’s curious stare, I approached the woman. With my hand offering the umbrella, I called out to her, “You are Andra, right?”
