The Comfort Insanity Burger from Jamie Oliver is a ridiculously rich burger made with beef, bacon, cheese, and a special sauce. If you're craving a burger, this is the best comfort food you can get.
Ingredients: 500g ground beef. 4 burger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 rashers of streaky bacon. 1 red onion, thinly sliced. 4 large lettuce leaves. 2-3 large pickles, sliced. 1 tomato, sliced. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Olive oil for cooking.
Instructions: Get your grill or barbecue ready for high heat. Put the ground beef and salt and pepper in a bowl and mix them together. Cut it into 4 equal pieces and shape each one into a burger patiety. Lay the bacon strips out on the grill and cook them until they are crispy. Take it out and set it aside. Put the burger patties on the grill and brush them with a little olive oil. Cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty just before it's done cooking to melt. As the burgers are cooking, put the burger buns on the grill and toast them until they're golden brown. To make a unique sauce, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Put your burgers together: Put some of the special sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Put a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, then a burger patty with cheese that has melted on top of that. Put in some pickles, tomato slices, and red onion slices. Then put the top half of the bun on top of the bacon. If you need to, use a skewer or toothpick to hold the burgers together, and serve them hot.
