Inpex Corp to take 5% stake in UAE oil concession: Japan

TOKYO: Inpex Corp has signed a 40-year contract to take a 5 percent stake in an oil concession in the United Arab Emirates, Yoichi Miyazawa, Japan’s minister of economy, trade and industry, told reporters on Monday.

The value of the stake was not immediately known. Japanese public broadcaster NHK said earlier it was expected to be worth $1.1 billion.
