19. Left for dead
The alleyway was utterly silent, not a rat nor human had allowed sound into its confines. However, if one listened close, they could hear something—a distant dripping if anything.
Blood was the source of the sound, dripping from a metal bat to the dark concrete below. Aurous hues would fix themselves upon the body lying on the ground as a result of the weapon in hand. Carnation pink locks were splayed over Riva’s form, her body motionless as the long locks began to dye with the color of her essence. He’d struck hard, terribly hard, brutally enough to render her unconscious before she hit the ground.
"I am very sorry.." He says, a mere murmur though it was loud in the silence of the walkway.
And with that apology, he turns away from her, no remorse at all as he tossed the bat to the side and continued on his way, burying a blood soaked hand within the pocket of his hoodie. He would at least wish a sweet death upon her since her being alive would be torturous.
