Wait... you put butter on your toast before peanut butter? I've only recently heard of doing that with nutella. Do you have to use real butter or can you use margarine (I'm a cheap ass)? Please tell me your ways.
So you mean you just spread peanut butter on dry toast?? Like I thought it was normal to spread toast with butter and then your spread of choice, regardless of the spread?
And yeah you can use margarine like I normally say butter to mean either butter or margarine (I normally use margarine but in this case it was actually butter because I had bought a tub of spreadable stuff to bake with and was spreading the leftover on my toast). But both taste equally good imo.
But, like, yeah, that’s what you do. You do it with jam too, even though I hate jam (what y’all call jelly). And honey. And absolutely definitely marmite like that’s mandatory. And peanut butter. Yes, and nutella too I guess although I frickin’ loathe nutella so I wouldn’t know.
I am seriously in shock because I thought this was a given I thought everyone did this. Publishing because anyone else care to weigh in??
