Three very different homes in Atlanta.
One of my favorite things about exploring the city is seeing different kinds of homes. Yesterday we walked to Inman Park and saw a beautiful red Victorian house – part of the 19th century origins of this “streetcar suburb.”
Then we walked to Poncey Highland and saw the fairly-recent 675 Highland building, with apartments on top and stores on bottom. It blends in nicely with the older buildings and houses around it which date to the early-to-mid 20th century.
After we took MARTA back to our Downtown neighborhood, we walked south on Forsyth Street to see our white condo building rising tall above its surroundings. It’s a 1913 office building that was converted to a residential/commercial mix in 2000.
There are many different homes and neighborhood types in this city.
