Some beautiful stairs and ocean views that gave way to mixed use land with some long urban stretches.

Back in the day my uncle used to say, “I love planes” to mock my love affair with planes. This final stretch through Culver City and Westchester to El Segundo on Aviation Blvd (not a pleasing stretch) held more nostalgia from childhood and less fascination of space. All in all, a great day. And I was able to have some Shake Shack with my mom afterwards. The best bonus!

Southern Santa Monica to Venice to Mar Vista to Palms. Palms Blvd had these amazing art characters on street poles and the murals speak to a community that is always active and ready to pull together for others.

All Santa Monica. All morning. The starting 12 stairs in Rustic Canyon are unique and intriguing then flow to the Pacific for stairs on the bluffs to the south. AND I walked the Rustic stretch with high school friend Eric who also drove me to the start! Props for friends stepping up and joining the adventure.
