Happy days, happy us.

Long Beach, CA We ended up connecting with one of my childhood best friends, Jason. He lives in OC and we stayed with him for a couple of days be man did we have an amazing time!!!! We ate so much amazing food we were all in a coma for three days straight. Jason is a super foodie and took us out to some of the best spots in the OC area. 1st stop was CLAWS in Cerritos, and that was fantastic! The Cajun flavors of all the dishes were delicious! We had 3 lbs of shrimp, and a pound of mussels. Steamed to PERFECTION with chunky but thin and delicious Cajun sauce. You eat right out of the bag! We got fried okra to start, with some Cajun fries. 2nd stop was the Yard House in Long Beach and that was great! The views over the marina and the atmosphere was great. The menu is so big you can pretty much get whatever you want. I got some amazing pulled chicken tacos and MJ got a burger (obviously b/c what else?!) 3rd stop was a Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant in the Long Beach/Cerritos area. We stared with some shrimp and pork veggie rolls, followed by, PHO, Bamboo Chicken, and chicken and snap peas. Followed by DELICIOUS dessert that isn't pictures because we ate it so fast but it was delicious!!! I had apple tart with cinnamon ice cream, and Steven got mango with sticky rice and rice milk. MJ and I also had our first Vietnamese beer! Yum! Jason thank you so much for treating us to all these amazing things, and being so hospitable towards our little family! We truly had an amazing time and thank you for making us feel at home! We love you and Rusty Le! ❤💕 In life we must always take the time to be grateful, to see old friends, share Old stories and just LAUGH. I laughed so hard when we stayed at Jason's and that's what life is all about!!
