I finally made an Instagram (@avecinky) for my film photos. Paying homage to my twenty-year-old self who once only dreamt of owning her own camera, and taking pictures while traveling Europe. xx

Changed up some of my Youtube thumbnails beginning with my favourite Iceland vlogs.
I think it looks absolutely beautiful now. You can check out my vlogs HERE if you are interested. xx
It’s the official start of autumn — my favourite season — and as I sit here, listening to Claire de Lune on loop, with my (now cold) coffee just an arm’s reach away, I realize how beautiful life truly is.
I woke up at seven in the morning, ready to start my day, and the stillness and the gloom that greeted me outside made me even chirpier (ironic as it may seem to some); I love cold, dark, quiet mornings as it reminds me a lot of my childhood, and home in particular. Now that I am continents away, I noticed how Septembers have that effect on me: it makes me miss home so terribly.
I have spent the last hour or two re-reading my old blog(s), and smiling at the thought of how far I have come, and how unpredictable life can be. Today I plan on going out on a walk with my camera in tow to pay homage to my twenty year old self who once only dreamt of taking photographs, and traveling to Europe. I say this every single day, but with everything that has happened, all the things that have changed, I am grateful.
Life — with its many ups and downs — will always remain beautiful, and will forever be worth living. I am so glad I am on this planet, thankful to God that I was born and raised with a loving family, blessed with a humble home, and however long it took me to achieve my dreams, now I can finally say:
Yes, I made it, and I stayed golden throughout the years.
I remember grandma once caught a glimpse of a tiny mole I have on the sole of my foot, and ever since then she believed I was born to travel. “You will hate staying in one place, Inx. You’ll travel a lot when you grow up.” she used to always tell me. Now I get to explore different places, and truly I am at my happiest when I venture off someplace new. I’m glad I’m living exactly as lola predicted 🌹
Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright - Bob Dylan (Cover)
One fine morning, just right after waking up, I picked up the guitar and started singing. I haven't played (and sung) in such a long time so I am getting a little rusty, but I am happy I'm beginning to make music a habit again. I hope you guys enjoy this short cover of a classic favourite ♡

Hello
Hello. It’s been years since I last properly updated this little corner I used to call my safe haven online, and in all those years of absence, I have grown up, grown old, and well, changed. Although I do admit to a few minor character adjustments here and there, some things will remain the same. Here are random questions I found online which I thought would be a great way to re-introduce myself so if you fancy getting to know me a little bit more, then by all means, keep on reading.
