They’re standing at the top of a huge bell tower, like Norte Dame levels of huge. The construction is medieval, but beautifully intricate. Beyond the open walls are rolling hills with gradual slopes, green with orchards, vineyards, and such. Somehow, they manage to look simultaneously organized and man-made, but also wild and natural, like a work of art painted over miles of canvas. You can smell the spring rains mixed with the intoxicating smell of the fruits, even despite the distance. Beyond the hills and to the north, south, and west are verdant forests, stretching on for leagues. To the east is a river that flows out the the distant, azure sea. You can see a few villages, strangely constructed, as if they’re melded with the nature around them, which makes some sense for the dwellings of mythical creatures. There is only one noticeably great population center, a city far off to the northwest. All of it looks alive with birds and creatures of various kinds, the vines around the supports of the tower even have little butterflies flitting about them.
The sun is bright but not burning, the winds carrying the promise of rain. Lemonade was right; this world is locked in an eternal, unending spring.
*Dark stared at everything, her jaw slacked as she took it all in. The sights the smell of spring rain, it was all too good to be true…she wondered if she was dreaming. Meanwhile Void was already in the air, to get a better view of the place.*
