Inktober day 3 is bat so ... I drew Thuringwethil as a vampire bat for the rodent prompt a couple of years ago .... and then it turned out that bats aren’t actually rodents. At least she fits the prompt this time

Day 3: Bat. This is the first prompt that will be a "redo." The piece with the blue background is my grey-headed flying fox from last year (to be honest, I wasn't satisfied with it at the time, and it hasn't grown on me). I like this year's MUCH BETTER! (Hey, that's how it's supposed to work, right? I practice, and I improve). Not as much fussy fur, and instead just impressions of fur. I actually love the new bat SO MUCH, especially given that I only worked on it for about 1.5 hours, and that included a few false starts as I worked on a technique for the floof.

Last October I completed the 2022 “Inktober” challenge for the first time. I’ll try to upload all 31 illustrations I did during the month. Here we’ve got day 1-4: Gargoyle, Scurry, Bat an Scallop 

I really wanted to do batman, but I already wear and own lots of batman stuff. So I thought it would be nice to have a diffrent bat, from a movie I've seen long before I've seen any Batman movies.
