Lexi pushed through the doors of the Performance Center, having needed to get in a workout, and maybe some sparring in the ring before she was due to leave with her boys for their house show tonight. Â Her bag was hung over her shoulder, her phone and water bottle in the other hand. Â She waved to a few people as she walked past them, calling out to Miss Sara that sheâd see her in a little while. Â She stepped into the locker room, and into one of the bathroom stalls to get herself together. Â Through the sounds coming in, she could hear when someone entered, the door falling shut behind them. Â Thinking nothing of it, she opened the door to her stall, and stepped out, going to her locker to put her things away. Â When she finally looked up to greet whoever it was that had entered, she froze in her spot.
Zahra. Â
That was the last person she wanted to see. Â Not now, at least. Â Not since sheâd done what sheâd done. Â Not when she knew that the other woman was angry with her, with every right to be.
