I drew this right after the election and posted a version of it to instagram with the following text: “I’m seeing and experiencing a lot of grief and anger and it is comforting me in the sense that I’m realizing that I am not alone and that my community is so fucking strong and that these emotions can be transformed into powerful action and I just wanted to voice support for you and let you know that I’m here for you if you want to talk or organize and gather warmth and love”. 

This is a comic I did that was published in the most recent Portland’s Women of Color (WOC) Zine #12. The theme of this issue was ‘zines’ -inside you can find writings/comics on self-publishing and why DIY methods are extremely important to us.
