i think about this image very often and it has made my life better

1.Normal way is where is they just simply adopt one or two fillies/foals, probably specifically a unicorn and earth pony to have as their children as that would be pretty easy in itself overall.

2.More Interesting way is where Twilight ends up defying all known laws of biology that exists to get herself pregnant through a goal, her magic and sheer f*cking willpower.

FUNNILY enough, I did actually make two Twijack fan children but it’s not their time to properly show up yet, I need make reference sheets soon lol

I’d like to imagine that they’re one of those ex-couples that sort of talk around their past relationship out of mutual unresolved baggage, to the point of almost never acknowledging it…meaning that Twilight doesn’t find out about it until much later.

This, of course, eventually leads to a scene of her breaking down sobbing in Rarity’s arms because she’s afraid that she’s somehow betrayed their friendship by dating AJ.

Twilight: “I’m, s-s-sorry! I didn’t know, I swear! If I did, I would have n-n-never…oh PLEASE, PLEASE don’t hate me!”

Rarity (stroking her back gently): “Ssshhhh, it’s okay, darling, let it all out.”

It’s even better if Rarity was the first pony to know about Twilight’s crush tbh. Rarity wanting to warn Twi about the hardship of dating AJ but at the same time she wouldn’t want to hurt Twi’s feelings, she knew what it was like to be head over heels over some pony.

I’d like to think during the stage where Rarity helps Twi navigate her own feelings, Rares actually starts to resolve things with AJ as well. Having Twilight has helped them both to talk again (like the sleepover episode) and eventually they learnt to finally let go of the past.
